Nasaan ka, Elisa? revolves around the disappearance of a girl named Elisa, one of the daughters of Raimundo and Francisca. Distraught by the tragedy, the couple slowly slides into desperation, so much that even their marriage begins to fall apart.
The telenovela is inspired by the real-life incidents that occured in the case of Madeleine McCann, a British child who disappeared in Portugal while on vacation with her family.
